Meet Your Team

Mr. Green has practiced in courts all across Colorado. He began his legal career as a Deputy State Public Defender in the Colorado Springs office before transitioning into private practice where he went on to manage the Colorado Springs branch of a large national family law firm. Being a fierce competitor and natural litigator, Mr. Green has been able to use his knowledge of the law and courtroom prowess to achieve successful results for his clients. Not only is Mr. Green at home in the courtroom, having tried hundreds of cases in front of juries and judges throughout the state, but he is also a skilled negotiator who strives to achieve settlement when possible. Mr. Green is a client-centered advocate who practices with empathy, taking the time to listen to and get to know his clients on a personal level in order to identify unique strategies for each case. He is dedicated to helping people navigate complicated and difficult situations and finds great joy in helping to turn lemons into lemonade and create new beginnings.

Paralegal- Gerry Hernandez

Gerry is a paralegal with over 20 years of experience specializing in family law. Her passion for helping others by being empathic, compassionate, and understanding is what makes her the skilled paralegal that she is. Gerry has worked for both large and small firms but is self-employed as a contract paralegal.

Volunteering is one of Gerry’s passions outside of her paralegal work. Besides her role as a CASA and Peer Coordinator for Broomfield/Adams County, Gerry also volunteers for the Metropolitan Volunteer Lawyers, Family Law Court Program, assisting indigent clients in completing their paperwork for a dissolution of marriage or custody of their children. Gerry was nominated by the Honorable Randall Arp of the Jefferson County District Court and has received the Paralegal Community Service Award in recognition of her many hours of service and dedication.

When Gerry is not working or volunteering, she loves the Broncos, Nebraska Huskers, live music, gardening, home decorating and hanging out with her two pups, Shelby and Dee Dee.
